Josephine Edem died a few days to her birthday

A young man, Etim Happiness Edem whose sister, Josephine, died in the collapsed Reigners Bible Church in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, on Saturday, December 10, 2016, has taken to Facebook to celebrate her birthday posthumously.

According to Edem, his younger sister wanted to celebrate her birthday on Tuesday, December 13, 2016, and the family had planned to give her a big treat to mark the day for her but she did not live to see the day as she was one of the victims of the disaster when the church fell on the worshippers, killing many of them in the process.

This is what Edem wrote on his wall:
“Today is your birthday but Reigners Bible Church couldn’t allow it. RIP my dear sister.”

The late Josephine, according to her close friends, was a very jovial lady who did not joke with the things of God and was always seen in the church or going for evangelism around the town.

Many families are still taking stock and counting their losses following the tragic incident which happened when the General Overseer of the church, Apostle Akan Weeks was to be ordained a Bishop.
