Argentine forward is the highest paid player in world football

According to Football leaks, Lavezzi earns more than £100,000-a-week more than Ronaldo and almost as twice as Messi. 

 

While many think that Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo- the two best players in world football- are the highest paid in the game, Football Leaks say its Ezequiel Lavezzi.Lavezzi signed with Hebei China Fortune in China on a two-year deal in February 2016.

According to Football leaks, the striker earns more than £100,000-a-week more than Ronaldo and almost as twice as Messi.

In this leaked contract, it is alleged that the 31-year-old earns a weekly salary of £493,000.
According to the document, Messi earns around £270,000-a -week - some £223,000 less than 31-year-old Lavezzi, although that is expected to change when he signs a new deal.
