Senior officials at Manchester United frustrated with manager

Mourinho has been described by some training group staff as ‘having a split personality and appearing to be at odds with himself’

 

Senior officials of the Manchester United are reportedly becoming frustrated at manager Jose Mourinho.

Mourinho was on Sunday, November 27 sent off to the stands in Man

chester United 1-1 draw with West Ham and has been charged with improper conduct by the FA.

Mourinho has now been sent off twice in six matches and has been charged three times by the FA.

Amidst these disciplinary problems, Mourinho is said to have fallen out with a couple of first team players at Manchester United.

He has already singled out the likes of Chris Smalling, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Luke Shaw and Anthony Martial for public criticism this season.

According to Daily Mail, the manager is not a popular figure at their Carrington training ground.

He has been described by some training group staff as ‘having a split personality and appearing to be at odds with himself’

“Players and staff not involved with the first team are practically ignored, with his assistant Rui Faria left to keep up morale,” Daily Mail reports.

Some have also linked his time away from his family as one of the reasons the 57-year-old manager is struggling at Manchester United. 

Mourinho stays permanently in a suite at the Lowry Hotel away from his family in London.

The coach who is a self-confessed family man is thought to be feeling the effect of not living with his wife and children.

Most significantly, the results on the pitch have not been favourable as United are currently having their worst start to a Premier League campaign in 27 years. 

At the same stage of the season, they are two points fewer than David Moyes and Louis van Gaal.
